Dolby Wars: Revenge of the Consumer & Return of Center Spread
A win for consumers! Center Spread is Back!
After a two year battle with Dolby licensing compatibility issues on AVRs between supporting the center spread feature for enhancing 2CH music upmixng and height virtualization for simulating speakers to enhance surround effects, Sound United is bringing back center spread on ALL 2019 and news Denon and Marantz AV receivers. Make sure to turn the auto-update feature on if you own a Denon or Marantz receiver circa 2019 so you can get the the firmware update coming November 11th, 2020. Thanks to all viewers that offered vocal support for bringing Center Spread back. Kudos to Sound United for giving its customers what they want!
