David: The True Character of a King
King David plays a pivotal part in Biblical Narrative - past, present and future. It is his loyal heart to the Most High and his just conduct with his fellow man that played a pivotal role in becoming G-d's choice and afterwards also that of the Tribal confederation of Israel. It is especially his just and exemplary behavior in choosing not to kill or even touch Saul, refusing to touch the "Anointed of God", that many times go unnoticed.
The City of David (the true location of the ancient Biblical Jerusalem - 2 Samuel 5:7) is now rising from the dust as foretold by Isaiah (52:2) through the archaeological excavations.
