Video Game Adaptations are MESSY
The medium of video games is still one of the freshest forms of media that’s widely consumed today. But, much like comics and novels, Hollywood has been taking stabs at that market, trying to bring those games to the big screens of the theaters and the little screens in people’s homes. However, that hasn’t been the most consistent endeavor, with their repetitive failures being labeled a curse. But with some higher quality films and shows releasing in the past couple years, I’m starting to lose my grip on what is good, bad, or just plain ok. Luckily, I think I’ve come up with a way to help explain things a bit better.
