This earnings gap was not a straightforward trade, due to trade location within a big base. As always, with a little patience a trade idea can be simplified by staying objective and watching key levels on the chart.
No special indicators were used here. Simply waiting for the setup to develop and then capitalizing on the trade opportunity the moment it presented itself.
In this trade, near-term expiring (weekly) options were used and traded within a few minutes to achieve more than 100% gain.
