This video provides a brief overview of using R with RStudio.
I will cover the following topics in particular:
Customizing the theme - a darker, more eye-friendly theme is recommended over one with a white background. I will also discuss pane layouts, i.e., the arrangement of the various windows (Console, R Script, etc.).
I will demonstrate how to create, save, and open an R script.
I will mention important keyboard shortcuts and provide an overview, as well as how to display them if desired.
I will also briefly explain what packages, i.e., collections of additional procedures, are.
I will also introduce the help function and how to access necessary information about methods and functions. Essentially, it's a guide to helping you help yourself.
