In this video, I'm going to recap our January 2021 budget with my zero-based budget. That means we'll be going over income, expenses, savings, and investments. I will also be going over our updated January 2021 net worth. I love zero-based budgeting because it allows me to know where exactly my money is going and to optimize how much I'm investing each month. I am also going over our net worth update for the month of January 2021.
We are two engineers with no kids (DINK) and we live in a high cost of living area (HCOL). We share our real numbers for transparency, but you shouldn't compare our journeys! We're in a very privileged position and we acknowledge that.
