The method for mounting track lights into the frame depends on the size of the drywall mounting area for the light fixture. Some tracks are screwed to the profile with an overlap, and a cutout is made in the drywall when sheathing. Other tracks are mounted with the drywall mounting area flush with the frame, and then shelves must be made from a guide profile. The shelves are screwed to the side of the ceiling profiles with a 1.5 mm height difference; the drywall remains intact without any cutout.
There are also tracks that are cast into plaster or multi-layer drywall, glued onto the drywall, installed into a finished ceiling through a cutout in the drywall, have their own hangers and are not connected to the frame, etc. The video shows one method for installing a track into a frame when the track's drywall mounting height is 13 mm.
