A History of Satan
Throughout history our concept of evil has taken many forms. The idea of an entity, Satan, has morphed over time from a accusing angel of God, to the manifestation of evil itself.
How did this happen? When did this happen? Why does the devil have his horns?
Here, I give a brief history of the devil, Satan, as we know him now, from his roots in Caananite mythology, to his demonization in the Middle Ages. While this video is not complete in its scope, I do hope it will give you a better concept of where the idea of a Evil One came from, and I hope it encourages you to do further studying on the topic. It's truly fascinating.
