Convinced by concepts of “conscious activism” KAYTV discovered during 12 years spent in Asia and that he sees as an engagement in joy to make the world a better place, French producer releases from his base camp in Pays Basque “Hood Drums”, a club album of up-tempo percussions and hypnotic 90s synths, all in a musical potion distilled for a collective and festive trance experience. Composed for live performance in view of a tour, the album is released on Cargo Recording, a label recently created by Bordeaux club iBoat where the LP was achieved and performed during an artist-in-residency.
