Being followed in communist Eastern Europe
Jessica Douglas-Home was followed by the secret police on trips to communist Eastern Europe. She and others, including Sir Roger Scruton, had to a learn a bit of spycraft to shake the followers off. They made trips there to offer support to persecuted intellectuals.
