Due to urgent business, Chama and his wife had to return to their parents' home. They drove overland on the way there, but to conserve their energy, they decided to take the Tokyo Kyushu Ferry on the way back.
The ferry runs daily between Shinmoji Port in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and Yokosuka Port in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, taking approximately 21 hours.
Two ships are in service: "Hamayu," named after Yokosuka City's flower, and "Soreiyu," named after Kitakyushu City's flower, the sunflower.
Today, Chama and his wife boarded the "Hamayu."
The ship is equipped with a spacious lobby, restaurant, shop, and open-air bath, making for a very comfortable stay. The food was delicious!
