OpenProject Team Culture: Open, Collaboration, Passion
The team at OpenProject says that the happiness of its employees is the top priority. In a recent interview with COO Robin Wagner, he said:
"We are intentional about how we hire and form relationships with our employees. Remote-first allows OpenProject to hire the best people from around the globe, and it allows us to be present in different time zones. It’s a win-win."
OpenProject is fully remote, and some employees regularly work together in the Berlin office. To unite the whole company, they hold offsite gatherings focused on getting to know each other. Employees from around Europe, the US, Central America, and Africa make the trek.
"It means so much to all of us to get to know each other on a human level," said Robin.
