It turns out it is generally the same as it was back in the golden age of business. Well documented behaviors exist that started then, but have been taken by the current "mavens" who sell motivational programs.
In fact, the ideas were written down by Napoleon Hill in 1937 when he was given unprecedented access to the wealthiest men of the era of huge, growing companies in the late 1800's.
Further research has been done by others since then, but most of the attributes remain the same.
