Most paper and board machines are equipped with at least three under-machine repulpers. These repulpers collect and process wet and dry broke from the machine during normal operation and also during startups and sheet breaks. The three most common under-machine repulpers are located under the couch roll, press section, and reel. Some machines have another repulper located under the winder.
