It's no fun performing magic to people who watch with their arms folded and can only go, "Well, that's clever."
Magicians (and any performers) adore people who show their appreciation to the art by wildly clapping, jumping around and occasionally stripping off their clothes in bewilderment.
Live life a little more fun. Be generous with your applause when you enjoy a show. It doesn't cost you anything to clap and cheer. Nothing.
And no, it does not mean that you are silly if you know how to enjoy magic. You do not need to know how it's done. You only need to enjoy :)
