In this step-by-step tutorial, we use the proxy generator included in CometVPN’s Native Residential VPN plan to set up a residential proxy in Firefox.
Follow along as we choose a proxy location by country, state, city, and internet service provider (ISP), select between Sticky and Randomise rotation modes, and access the proxy connection details.
We then walk through the FoxyProxy setup: adding a new proxy, selecting the matching proxy type, entering the host, port, username, and password, and activating the connection. Finally, we check the IP address to confirm that the proxy is working.
