Why Sucker Punch Isn't A Punch
The ability Iron Fist was introduced in generation 4 of Pokemon [Diamond and Pearl]. Many punching moves are boosted by Iron Fist, including Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, and Shadow Punch. But because of a quirk in how this move was translated into English, Sucker Punch isn't classified as a punch like you might expect.
