How Game Freak Let Typhlosion Down
Cyndaquil is one of the starter Pokemon from generation 2 (Gold and Silver). Eventually it evolves into Quilava, followed by Typhlosion. Unlike the other starters (Chikorita and Totodile), Cyndaquil doesn't have its own base stat spread. The entire Cyndaquil line gets their stats from a Pokemon introduced in the previous generation (Red and Blue).
