INFO: I made my video before M1 Macs became so trendy. This doesn't mean Intel Macs are worthless. On the contrary, they're still superb machines. The important thing for me is not to fall into the trap of marketing and rushing into things. Just because a new product comes out doesn't mean the old one is immediately worthless, especially with high-end computers like these. For example, a 2018 iPhone or Samsung will sell for 50% less than when it was released, even though they're still great phones. So I advise you to WAIT! Unless you want to start coding on a shoestring budget, get a used Mac. If, on the other hand, you want the latest Mac and it's a significant expense, at least wait until the M1 processor is a bit more mature. This will allow you to:
Save money while the hype dies down
Wait for Apple to fix any potential issues with these new processors.
I would advise waiting a while before buying the 2019 Intel MacBook Pro.
However, I think it's a good time to buy refurbished 2017/2018 Macs, because people will rush to "sell them off" thinking they're worthless. Rest assured, they'll still be expensive, but it's possible to see some people lower the price by several hundred euros compared to a few weeks ago. Personally, I think I'll start looking into M1 Macs in about two years. Just so you know, that's just my opinion!

When I decided to upgrade my entire setup, I invested in a 2020 MacBook Pro. I wanted to be able to develop mobile applications and submit them to both app stores, all from a single computer. I also planned to upgrade my hardware to a more powerful processor, more RAM, and a larger SSD.
We're on the cusp of major changes, with Apple's 2020 keynote and the rise of the iPad Pro. But in my opinion, choosing a MacBook Pro is still essential for mobile app development to ensure you have sufficient power.
