What's interesting: the play was significant at the factory, increased even more after the first maintenance, and after a trip to the south of our country, it became horrific.
All you need:
A 19mm socket with a ratchet extension and a slotted screwdriver.
After adjustment, the steering became tight, clear, and predictable.
Why doesn't the factory set the acceptable play on the assembly line?
Important: after loosening the lock nut and tightening the adjusting screw clockwise until it stops, back it off a quarter turn and only then tighten the lock nut. It's important to leave a clearance in the engagement of the worm gear teeth, otherwise the steering will bind when turning the wheel.
