As some of you already know I've been working on my very own Batman design in the style of the Keaton/Burton Batman and this is the end result. I originally wanted to just do the blue and grey Keaton suit that was shown in the Flash, but I kinda felt like I wanted to make something more interesting, which eventually lead to me doing my own design instead. This suit combines a lot of different aspects, like the overall style of the Burton Batman, but with a modern, layered and high-mobility twist along with a dark blue and grey colour scheme. I think this is a pretty good start for my first original design and I've also used it to perfect some of my 3D modelling and sculpting workflows, which allowed me to finish it in record time (though it was also the only thing I could really work on during the recent heatwave, as Blender isn't computationally expensive in my usecase aside from eating up 50GBs of system memory lol). Its also the first suit on which I've really done proper armor plating articulation points, which was also interesting to figure out, but it also makes the end results a lot more pleasing.
I might explore further variations of the Burton style in the future, as I've kinda fallen in love with its overall distinctive and iconic look and I think there are a lot of interesting possibilities there.
Also don't mind some of the militia in the test map wearing hard hats, I've made a hat system for thugs ages ago for no good reason and started messing with it again yesterday, guess I forgot to turn it off before making the build that I recorded this gameplay with.
Last but not least, happy #batmanday , only found out that its today yesterday lol.
