Earthbound - Smiles and Tears Arranged - Satoru Iwata Tribute
Yesterday, on July 12th, Nintendo released a statement issuing the passing of Satoru Iwata, who had been their CEO and President for almost a decade, and worked as a major player in the company's history for even longer.
Earthbound was one of the more significant games that Iwata worked on, so I thought it'd be fitting to use one of the best songs in the game to pay tribute to him.
He helped us understand just how important fun is in video games.
Thank you Mr, Iwata, and rest in peace.
