I want to make this very clear because I understand there may be some confusion with our lack of ability to explain things on camera very well: Kmart videos are NOT completely going away. Super K 3 is still happening for sure. That's a requirement. It's something we want to do and we know you guys want to see. The reason why we're trying something new isn't to completely replace Kmart content. It's an idea we've been tossing around for a few months now, and with the help of Kyle on our team this idea can be turned into a reality. We promise that this new genre of videos we're going to attempt to make isn't some weird nerdy weeaboo crap. It's still going to be very much our style, our weirdness. Actually, this is probably going to be more us than we've been able to show before, because finally we get to write some fiction and make videos without worrying about locations, budgeting, time, costuming, actors, and a lot of the other things that go with going out and shooting a video. This new idea is to help fill in the gap between the large amounts of time between Kmart videos and other types of videos our friends are going to be making with us. If you've noticed, Kmart videos only come once every few months and there's a few reasons behind that.
One: It's difficult for both of us to get a day off together that we can go travel and make a video. There aren't many more Kmarts left around here, and the longer we have to travel to see one, the more difficult it is going to be for us to plan a trip together.
Two: Because of our editing style, it takes us a long time to put these videos together. We could go the other route and just go make a vlog style kind of video just visiting these places, but there's a number of other YouTubers that do exactly that, and we don't want to copy their formula. Nobody wants to watch the same video someone else made, and we don't want to make videos that other people already made.
Three: We want to make videos about more than just Kmart. We know Kmart is what got us popular, and we're grateful for that, but there's only so many stores and so many ideas we can take to those stores, especially on our limited time budget.
We hope you'll give us a chance and come to love Kyle in the process! He is an exceptional artist with our same great sense of humor. We hope that you come to like us and watch us for who we are, not just for Kmart content. Thank you all so much for your support. We love each and every one of you!
