This is my journey from rookie chaos to proper side-by-side battles in iRacing’s BMW M2 CS — a license grind through D-Class that delivered everything sim racing should be: close fights, strategy, and a battle-tested upgrade to C-Class.
After weeks of rookie madness, Mazda MX-5 chaos and a hollow win in Formula Vee, I jumped back into the BMW M2 for my first real taste of proper wheel-to-wheel sim racing in the Power Challenge. What followed was a mix of setup disasters, sketchy overtakes, side-by-side brawls, and the best racing I’ve experienced so far in iRacing.
