First Sounds of Mid-Fi Electronics Clari(Pirate) // NO TALKING
Delays get me every time. They've always been a go-to effect for me. Over the years I've tried more than I can count, from digital to analog, single to multi, straight up clean and simple to dirty and weird. The Clari(Pirate) by @douglastuttle8938 is definitely in the weird camp, and I mean that in the best possible sense! You've got "the modulation from the Deluxe Pitch Pirate (LFO with square and triangle waves) and the Clari(not) (Lumpy envelope follower) in one pedal, modulating a shared delay line!" I copied & pasted that from the Mid-Fi Electronics website, but as a lowly guitarist, don't ask me what "envelope follower" is. All I know is that the Clari(Pirate) can make some really cool sounds and it DEFINITELY isn't just anoter run of the mill delay! Hang with me here as I discover all the sounds!
