Highlights: 2021 Haute Route Alps
Living up to its title of the toughest amateur cycling race in the world, the 2021 Haute Route Alps delivered like never before. Conquering countless legendary cols, riders raced 800km from Megeve to Nice, collecting 21,000m of elevation along the way. Riding point-to-point in seven punishing days in the saddle through the most famous cycling terrain in the world, this special 10th edition was one to remember.
After a thrilling battle for the men’s GC title, it was Brazilian Antonio Garnero who came out on top of Frenchman Loic Ruffaut. Luise Valentin took a clean sweep of the women’s stage wins to take the top women’s GC in commanding fashion.
