The evolution of Pioneer Courthouse Square 🏛️
Portland, Oregon’s downtown plaza first opened to the public on April 6, 1984. The city block it occupies has served as a gathering in one form or another since the mid-19th century: from Portland’s first permanent public school, to a Victorian architecture-style grand hotel and a parking garage.
