It seems although the South Korean government enacted a special law in 2018 named 'the BTS Law' that allowed its K-pop starts to postpone their military service but even though the BTS members generate billions its not an excuse to avoid military service all together. The mandatory military service in South Korea directs the male citizens of the country to enlist in the military irrespective of the background, career and residency. BTS will be serving the military, and are not being exempted from the military service.
