POV (Macy)
I held my binder close to my chest as I walked down the school hallway. I looked forward towards my locker when I noticed Nick coming down the hall on the right side and Kevin coming down the hall on the left side. I wanted to run but I knew I had to face them and tell the two of them who I had chosen. I sighed before holding my head extra high and walking straight toward my locker. I spun the combination quickly and I put my binder inside. I shut the locker only to come face to face with Nick. Hey. He said grinning. Hi Nick. I said smiling back. Sorry about last night. I said quickly. Its alright sorry for being a jerk and all. He replied. Uhhhh. I said not knowing what to say. Hey Macy. Kevin said from behind me. Hey. I said softly. I looked at the two of them. Dont worry Kevin and I made up. Nick said laughing. Oh well thats good. I replied with a smile. So uh. Kevin said looking at his shoes. Nick can I talk to you in private. I said as I grabbed his arm and led him away from Kevin whose face dropped. Nick was beaming unaware of what was about to happen. Nick. I said clearing my throat. Nick I really like you but I think it would be best if we just stayed friends and not ruin this great friendship we have. I said quietly as I bit my lip. He looked at me for a second before nodding his head. I understand. He muttered. Its just that I dont like you and Kevin fighting and I liked you but Kevin liked me and I realized last night after I found out you locked him in his room that I liked Kevin. I said shaking my head. I completely understand. He said as he gave me a quick hug. See you at lunch. He said as he walked off down the hall. I looked over at Kevin and smiled.
POV (Nick)
I completely understood Macys reasonings but it still kind of hurt to know she liked Kevin and not me anymore. But our friendship was more valuable like she said so I was happy to call her a friend.
POV (Kevin)
Macy walked over to me smiling. Hey Kevin how about that date? she asked still smiling. A smile spread across my face. Does that mean? I asked. Uh huh Im all yours. She said softly. Without thinking I pulled her into a hug and kissed her softly. As we broke apart and whispered, Its about time. Macy giggled at my comment before grabbing my hand as we began walking down the hall.
POV (Stella)
Well would you look at that. I said. What? Joe asked as he put his arm around me. Looks like Macy decided Kevin was the one for her. I said as I rested my head on his shoulder. Good for Kevin. Joe laughed. What about Nick though? I asked sitting back up. Nick will be fine, see. Joe said pointing. Sure enough Nick was standing in the corner talking to a few girls. I laughed softly before resting my head on Joes shoulder again. I love you. Joe whispered. I love you too. I said as I smiled to myself.
