Norton Museum of Art - 2023 Virtual Learning Experiences
Celebrate the end of the school year with the Norton Museum of Art! During this live virtual event at the Norton, students are invited to spend time virtually with Tawana and Staice, artwork by American artist John Ahearn.
Using discussion in the chat and hands-on activities, students will investigate themes of storytelling, identity, community, and neighborhoods through interactive guided discussions through close looking. This tour is inquiry-based and fosters students’ creative and critical skills that will increase visual literacy and offer opportunities to communicate ideas about art.
This tour will connect with literacy and arts Florida State Standards, K-12.
