Enjoy the start of your weekend with my new series "Weekend Music Production Tip!" This weekend we look at odd time signatures, particularly 7/8 time, and why this time signature is used in so many action film scores. To demonstrate I scored some footage of myself playing "Days Gone" on the PS4 in 7/8 time. We also look at 9/8 and 5/8 time signatures while covering a few orchestral concepts. Happy weekend everyone and enjoy trying your hand at writing some odd time music!
