Assassin's Creed is one of those iconic gaming franchises that many of us grew up with. Ubisoft captured a special kind of casual RPG magic with ACI and ACII, being the first game to utilize parkour in an open world setting. The Ezio trilogy made Assassin's Creed my favorite game for a good few years, but I lost interest over time as they shifted the game more towards a Witcher 3 style of RPG in titles like Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla. AC Mirage is finally going back to the roots, doubling down on what made AC1 and AC2 so good, and I'm excited for it.
