Early years: He began his bollywood career with Biwi Ho to Aisi movie in which he was not in the main lead but he got popular with his second movie Maine Pyaar Kiya. It was Suraj barjayta’s movie. After that he got Hum Apke Hain Kaun movie which was super hit. He also did movies such as karan- Arjun where he was in the main lead with Shahrukh Khan. He also played supporting role in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and for that movie he got Filmfare award for Best Supporting actor. He also did many action movies which were super hit such as Dabang, Wanted. Many of his movies did really well in the box office. Movies like Dabang, Wanted earned really well in the box office and made Salman Khan a superstar. Like other actors He has to go through bad time when his movies did not do well but today he is one of the superstars of Hindi cinema
