It is a wallet where you can store many different coins safely. You control the private keys for your own coins. If someone was to hack the technology supporting AtomicDEX they would not get your coins unless they gained access to your wallet's seed phrase. (it must be kept safe). The Komodo network is secured from 51% attacks by notarizing checkpoints onto the LTC blockchain. This is called Delayed Proof of Work, (dPoW).
In addition to a wallet, AtomicDEX is a Decentralized Exchange, that performs peer2peer atomic swaps from one wallet to another directly. No middle man or 3rd parties, you have your own exchange within your own wallet. You have complete control with AtomicDEX. Mobile and Desktop versions exist for Android, iOS, Linux, Windows, and Mac.
