The After Effects Beta Release (24.4.0 Build 13) introduces importing 3D model animation right inside of After Effects.
This opens up the possibility to drastically reduce time spent on a 2D/3D workflow by no longer having to always render out image sequences before importing to After Effects. This could be a game change for your compositing workflow.
