Spain crushes Georgia 7:1. Euro 2024 qualifiers. Report from Tbilisi
Before the next meeting between the national teams of Spain and Georgia, I decided to remember how these teams played for the last time in Tbilisi as part of the qualification for Euro 2024. This match was expected in the city. Georgia was higher than Spain in the table and seemed to be able to make a surprise. At that time, the team of Willy Sagnol with Khvicha and Mikautadze was just taking shape as a single whole.
This match is also interesting because 16-year-old Barcelona prodigy Lamin Yamal made his debut in it. And the Georgians ended up suffering the biggest defeat in history - 1:7.
