High tech on the high seas
High technology is taking to the high seas.
Cruise ships are being outfitted with sensors and trackers, all to help crew members better anticipate passengers' needs and whims.
Carnival, the operator of cruise lines including its namesake, Princess, and Holland America, unveiled the new concierge technology at the CES gadget show in Las Vegas, and will debut it on the Regal Princess cruise ship in November.
