Milliscope HD Care and Use
Care and use of the Milliscope HD Video Borescope and Fiberscope
• Connect Milliscope HD external Power to the Base Unit
• Using an HDMI cable Connect the Base unit to an HDMI Type A Monitor
• Ensure that the selector on the back of the base unit is set to “Videoscope” position if connecting a videoscope and to “fiberscope” position of using the Milliscope HD Fiberscope
• Attached the Milliscope HD fiberscope handle or videoscope
• Ensure a USB thumb drive is inserted to record images and video
• A USB keyboard can be attached for text annotation
• Power the systems on, allow approximately 35 seconds
Operation
• Attach desired Milliscope HD fiberscope by aligning pins
• Adjust the image focus using the focus knob
• Optical zoom can be adjusted with the slider
• To capture still images press the capture buttion
• To capture video long press the capture button
On the keypad
• To rotate the Image 180 degrees press the up arrow
• Press the down arrow to properly eject the USB Memory
• Press the “Store/Select” button to capture images, long press to capture video
• To Access the menu press the Menu button
Display
• Saved images and video are displayed on the right, video has a dashed outline
• The live image is displayed in the center
• On the left hand side the level of zoom is indicated along with the presence of a USB device and text notes
• To set the zoom level
o Press the Menu button
o The mode Menu appears and set zoom level
o Press select to choose the desired magnification
