FY 2024 National Expenditure Program: Address Learning Losses
The National Budget-at-a-Glance: The proposed national budget for FY 2024, amounting to Php 5.768 trillion, has been crafted to achieve the country’s near-term objectives identified in the 8-point Socioeconomic Agenda.
To address learning losses brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and as mandated by the Constitution, Education will remain the top priority with a total budget of Php 924.7 billion, equivalent to 16.0 percent of the FY 2024 National Expenditure Program.
The Education budget will support the Department of Education’s MATATAG Agenda for Basic Education, as well as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education, among others.
