We had quite a few requests for options for muscle stretching while the child is on the floor with or without supervision. For those of you that sent me videos and pictures your children having difficulty extending their legs, here is an activity that you can incorporate into your routine. This is also a good activity to help with upper extremity use, head elevation, strengthening, and stretching of the hips and lower extremities. It is also a good position to play with the child while they work! Use beach towels and make an incline to help with this position. You can also use pillows to place the child.
