CSS for beginners 43: padding shorthand property
Hi there and welcome! 😊 In this video, we will learn what is padding shorthand property in CSS.
With padding shorthand property we can define all padding properties ( padding-top, padding-right, padding-bottom, and padding-left ) with just one line of code:
➡️ div { padding: 25px 10px 15px 20px; }
For padding shorthand property first value ( 25px in our case ) represents padding top, second value ( 10px ) represents padding right, third value ( 15px ) represents padding bottom, and last or fourth value ( 20px ) represents padding left.
Padding shorthand property can be set in units like px, em, rem, pt, % etc.
