The good news is this is a BLOODLESS embedded splinter removal video. NO blood is shown and because hydrogen peroxide reacts with blood, it really is the best way to remove a splinter for anyone who does not handle the sight of blood well (and let's be real, it's great for people who don't mind it either).

My pint-sized helper and I are finally putting the rock back in place from replacing our water main (playlist:    • Water Service Line Repair / Replacement  ) and the sun-worn DIY rock screen/dirt separator gave me a painful splinter. I hate dealing with blood or pain so I tried wishful thinking first before the skin tried healing over.

Hydrogen peroxide was a fun experiment that actually worked! So next time you have to remove an embedded splinter, pull out your hydrogen peroxide. At least that part of the job is bloodless and painless!

MATERIALS & TOOLS NEEDED:
○ Your choice of liquid courage.
○ DIFFERENT cups for isopropyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and your vice.
○ unsurprisingly isopropyl alcohol AND hydrogen peroxide
○ needle
○ tweezers
○ luck that the splinter pops out for you too
