This beautiful short film by Jacob Collings, shared with permission, captures the spirit of the 2025 Arts8 Collaboration held at the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) in Melbourne.
Bringing together students and artistic leaders from Australia’s eight premier arts training institutions, the annual Arts8 initiative fosters cross-disciplinary exploration and creative exchange. Representing The Australian Ballet School were Level 8 students Lottie Booth and Amelie Marks, guided by Artistic Lead Lucas Jervies.
Jacob's film offers a glimpse into this creative exchange, featuring reflections from students across all eight institutions as they share what drives and inspires their artistic journeys.
The Arts8 is a group of eight national arts workforce-training organisations, convened and supported by the Australian Government to nurture excellence and creative talent across the country. Together, the Arts8 plays a vital role in cultivating the talent that sustains Australia’s performing and screen arts industries.
