How Hackers Drive Security Innovation
Hackers, highly skilled professionals with a strong fascination for computer systems and security research, remain relatively obscure in terms of their positive contributions to companies and the world at large. This talk aims to shift the focus away from the negative portrayal of hackers often depicted in the news and shed light on their positive aspects. By examining the bright side of hackers, we will explore their roles and achievements within companies. Furthermore, considering the rapidly evolving IT and Internet world, we will also discuss how hackers and offensive security researchers must adapt to bring about positive transformations in a company.
