S2E2 Teaser: Aristarchus

1,800 years before Copernicus, a man named Aristarchus of Samos conjectured that the sun was at the center of the cosmos and that the earth revolved around it once per year, and rotated on its axis once per day. He also imagined that the stars were incredibly far away, much farther than any of his contemporaries could believe. He was led to these conclusions by his own measurements and calculations of the relative sizes and distances of the sun and moon.
