Hello race fans.
I know it's been a while since I last raced, let alone posted a race video. This is from my race back in the end of February. I did both 2 and 4wd buggy. Each had their own levels of success that night.
Race analysis:
2wd Int Buggy:
This class is the one that I've been really making steady strides in as far as improvement goes. This race was no different, considering that I had no practice on this layout prior. I managed to keep it together mostly through the qualifiers, with the main struggle being the massive jump before the back rhythm section. This would also be true for the 13.5 class. In the Main, I would start second and once again struggle with the massive "backflipper." I would be consistent enough to finish where I started and lap all but the leader, who was close to doing the same to me.
4x4 Buggy:
The qualifiers went smoothly for the most part after I stopped trying to back flip the "backflipper." But, with higher level drivers in the mix, I would only manage to seed 5th in the main. Unfortunately, things would not improve during the mains. I struggled to keep ahold of the car and steer consistently. I would ultimately finish 6th out of 7 in 13.5 4x4. I discovered the reason partially by accident. As I went to do some maintenance and contemplate setup, I discovered that both screws for the B block on my B74.2 had both come loose. And the resulting movement was enough to affect the handling of the car. Hopefully, that will no longer be an issue as they are now secured with Locktite.
