A little R and R at the (equine) spa!
So today I used the horse mineral spa at @equineadvancement ( as a result of being bucked off yesterday and having my back and calf stepped on.. so I need this to heal and heal fast)
So for those that don’t know what this is ... it’s a cold water ... very cold water like 2-4 degrees cold with minerals and salts in it to mimic sea water and bubbles... and I’m
Not talking Champagne....
The horses walk into and it and the doors close and it fills up around them to whatever hight is needed to treat a injury or for recovery.
It takes away the inflammation and or swelling and helps the horses whole body recover from work.
My horses have been using the spa and water treadmill and after only 3 seasons o straight to feel the magic and strength already developing. Their backs feel amazing.
But Kelly so kindly had the spa ready and waiting for me to jump straight on in!!
