How to stop Notepad from opening old files
Is there a way to stop notepad reopening stuff? How to Disable Auto-open Previous Files in Notepad? How to stop Notepad from automatically opening previous files at startup. Every time i open a txt file it opens recent txt files also. Why does notepad open my most recent document in addition to the doc I want?
To solve this problem, click Alt-S while you're inside Notepad. Under 'When Notepad starts', choose 'Open a new window'.
