Mike talks New MS Rods
As a company, we are always on the lookout for new and better technologies for our rods and line systems. In a quest to beef up our 8wt Pure Skagit rod, we stumbled upon a new graphite blend that had that “wow” factor we couldn’t ignore. From this discovery, the MS-2 Micro Skagit generation of rods was born. Featuring a crisper action and a new graphite technology, these rods still feature the action Ed Ward approved on the first generation. This rod stands out with a new down-locking reel seat and reel seat components. The rod also features a new cork, as well as a full-well upper handle that allows for both single-hand and two-handed Skagit casting. We kept the REC Cericoil guides from our generation 1 rod to enhance rod flex and add durability. The MS-2 lineup of rods features the same 3wt, 4wt, and 5wt configurations as our Gen 1 rods, covering all your trout spey needs. Come check out our new Micro Rods, and “Feel The Difference”.
