This here is an alternate version of the “FullMoon” cover I posted on Sunday… this time with 100% more Wolfman! 🐺😜
I’m using the 2014 version of this song from the “Ecliptica Revisited: 15th Anniversary Edition” album. Compared to the original, the key is slightly lower (F#m instead of Gm) and the guitar riffs are a little fancier. 🧐
Because of the lower key, and quite possibly because he’s 15 years older, Tony Kakko’s performance on this song does sound more forlorn with a touch more weary resignation. While it doesn't have that young pup exuberance from the Sonata Arctica debut album, it sure makes up for it in grizzled wolf energy!
